No longer a Pre-schooler

It's official..my baby is no longer a baby. And my heart is sad. But very happy for my growing little girl! She had her pre-school graduation Friday night. We have loved the school she is at. She has been there since she was 2yrs old. It is a small place ran by a mother/daughter. The mother has been a surrogate grandmother to Hadley, Mrs. Gotter. And Hadley loves her very much!! At the end of every year, there is a huge party for all the kids to perform, the pre-schoolers to graduate, the parents to mingle. It ends with a big pot luck dinner and entertainment for the kids. This year it was an amazing animal show..there was an alligator, snake, ferrets, and monkey..and the kids got to pet them all!! It was a great night to see everyone and of course the main question.."When are you leaving?" Hadley has been with the same kids just as long! We are planning a big good-bye party this Friday (her last day) so lots of pics of that later!

Here are some pics of Hadley at the graduation and of the night!!

Grandma said...

I love Hadley's choice of graduation dress! While Mommy was shopping at the mall one day Hadley turned to me and said, 'C'mon Grandma let's shop'. So, with Grandma in tow to hold her 'loot' we power shopped for 10 minutes. The results were so cute and she tried each one on so proudly. While we were in the dressing room 'modeling' our finds for Mommy, Daddy called from KC and said to buy whatever his little princess wanted. Well....this pricey little blue dress was what Hadley fell in love with and well, we can all see the results. It was Grandma and Hadley's first power shopping trip but I have a feeling there will be many more to come.
Congratulations to Miss Hadley and good luck in Kindergarten in Iowa.
We love you,
